Image Consulting is a rapidly growing area and is turning out to be a very lucrative industry. For many, the term “Image” sounds superficial, substance-less, no-brainer, related to beauty and glamour and a waste of time!! But I thank my stars that I never felt that way, in spite of my hardcore Human Physiology research background and have always been an ardent proponent of having a positive Image. Indeed there is a significantly better, positive, brighter and beneficial side of “Image” that I would like to bring to your kind attention here.
I stumbled upon this career option five years back after 16 years of sabbatical. Now when I work with several Executives, Bankers, Doctors, Housewives, Principals, Students as my clients I bring in a lot of logic and science to the various Image and Soft Skills topics. A well-groomed, authentic and attractive image twined with right behaviour and polished communication style can give huge confidence and a career boost to anyone and everyone.
Image is not about wearing expensive clothes and make up! Image is primarily about looking and feeling your best as per your affordability, being self-aware, taking charge of your emotions, managing your ego, being empathetic, working on your self-esteem, focussing on your goals and daring to dream.
